Abilene beats Panthers

ABILENE — The Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team was beaten 31-9 by Abilene on Tuesday.
Abilene had a 4-2 lead on Concordia after one quarter of play.
The Panthers were outscored 10-2 in the second period, and trailed 14-4 at halftime.
Abilene scored six points in the the third quarter, to five for Concordia, to go up 20-9.
The Panthers were shut out in the final period.
Cianna DeLeon scored four points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team defeated Abilene, 20-15.
Concordia trailed 9-7 at halftime.
The Panthers scored 13 points in the second half, and only allowed six.
Desyn Thornton paced Concordia with seven points.
