Buffs edge JV girls
Republic County edged Concordia 33-30 in junior varsity girls’ basketball play Tuesday night.
Concordia trailed 13-10 after one quarter of play.
Republic County scored seven points in the second stanza, to five for the Panthers, and led 20-15 at halftime.
Concordia outscored the Buffaloes 11-5 in the third quarter to go up 26-25.
Republic County pumped in eight points in the final period, and limited the Panthers to four points, to capture the win.
Paige Shamburg paced the Panthers with 11 points. Jera Metro, Karlie Blochlinger and MaKayla Nelson scored four points each.
