CCCC 4x400 team second at KT Woodman

WICHITA —The Cloud County mens 4x400 relay team placed second in the college division of the KT Woodman Classic track meet here on Saturday.
The team of Denroy Ottey, Denray Ottey, Shilo Goracke and Josh Charles ran 3:15.80 and placed second to Oklahoma Baptist, which ran 3:14.17.
Charles also picked up a fourth place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.53.
George Gathuru finished fourth and qualified for nationals in the 5000 meter run in 15:00.19.
Dakota Weber threw a personal best 160'10” in the discus to place seventh and qualify for the national meet.
Cloud County's womens 4x400 team of Brenda Barnett, Chioma Agwunobi, Ilesha Boyles and Roxanne Tyrell finished fifth in 4:00.88.
Agwunobi finished seventh in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.65.
