CCCC drops conference opener

LIBERAL — Seward County swept the Cloud County Community College volleyball team in the Jayhawk Conference Western Division opener for both teams Wednesday night.
Cloud County dropped the first set of the match, 25-18.
Seward County won the second set 25-17, and then completed the sweep with a 25-16 victory in the third set.
Erin Terrell had eight kills in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
Monica Long added six kills and four digs.
Hilta Pereira had five kills.
Emily Brown finished with eight digs.
Cloud County will host Garden City Community College in a Conference match next Wednesday night.
