CHS wrestling team drops league dual to Wamego

 The Concordia High School wrestling team suffered a 42-21 loss to Wamego in a North Central Kansas League dual Thursday night in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Wamego picked up victories in the first four matches in the dual.
Concordia's Taylon Whitley lost by fall to Dylan Bloom in the 106-pound class.
Cole Larsen, 113 pounds, lost a 2-0 decision to Reece Warren.
Matthew Whitley was pinned by Jacob Christie in the 120-pound class.
Cameron Miller, 126 pounds, dropped a narrow 2-1 decision to Dalton Carley.
Both teams were open in the 132-pound class.
Gage Canfield picked up Concordia's first victory by beating Joe Haug 9-4 in the 138-pound class.
Tracer Workman, 145 pounds, lost by fall to Tristan Neff.
Blaze Payeur pinned Wamego's Connor Kramm in the 152-pound class.
Concordia then lost three straight matches.
Jared Knapp, 160 pounds, was pinned by Dylan Campbell.
Baley Kindel lost by fall to Ethan Simonsen in the 170-pound class.
Izaiah Grogan was pinned by Nathan McGowan in the 182-pound class.
Both teams were open at 195 pounds.
Kyle Marks, 220 pounds, lost by fall to Kasey Feyh.
Zak Romo won by forfeit for Concordia in the 285-pound class.
Concordia will compete in the Clearwater Invitational on Jan. 18.
