Co-op defeats American Legion, 13-9

 Cloud County Co-op scored four runs in the fifth inning to defeat the American Legion 13-9 in Girls’ Junior Softball action Tuesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
 The game was tied at 9-9 heading into the fifth.
 Cloud County Co-op put up four runs on two hits and three walks to secure the victory.
 In the other game played Tuesday night, Funk Pharmacy knocked off Subway, 16-7.
Cloud County Co-op led the American Legion 6-2 after one inning of play.
 The American Legion scored one run in the second inning and five in the fourth to take an 8-6 lead.
 Cloud County Co-op picked up three runs in the fourth inning, and the American Legion scored one to make it 9-9.
Courtney Mansfield did the pitching for Cloud County Co-op.
 Mariah Lott pitched for the American Legion.
 Hailey Budke had three hits and scored three runs for Cloud County Co-op.
 Cameron Cleveland scored three runs.

Funk Pharmacy 16,
Subway 7
 Scoring eight runs in the fourth inning, Funk Pharmacy pulled away to a 16-7 win over Subway.
 Funk Pharmacy grabbed a 4-0 lead in the first inning.
 Each team scored four runs in the second inning, and Funk Pharmacy led 8-4.
Subway closed the gap to 8-7 with three runs in the third inning.
 Funk Pharmacy sent 10 batters to the plate, and scored eight runs in the fourth inning.
Allison Poore pitched for Funk Pharmacy.
Taegen Larsen did the pitching for Subway.
Kennedy Chrisco and Erin Meyer had three hits and scored three runs each for Funk Pharmacy.
 Poore scored three runs and Jessica Romo had three hits and scored two runs.
Kendall Reynolds had two hits for Subway.
