Concordia Kids Wrestling Club has 20 place

MINNEAPOLIS — The Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had 20 wrestlers place in the top five at the Ottawa County Novice Tournament on Saturday.
Concordia wrestlers capturing individual championships include:
Dan Kuder, 37 pounds, 6-and-under; Tierney Breault, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; and Davin Benfer, 64 pounds,  8-and-under.
Second-place finishers include:
Ayden Krier, 37 pounds, 6-and-under; Rush LeDuc, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Trent Baker, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Deekon Holbert, 46 pounds, 6-and-under; Jaxon Brooks, 61 pounds, 8-and-under; Gunnar Hale, 110 pounds, 8-and-under; Treyton Gropp, 73 pounds, 10-and-under; and Drew Benfer, 95 pounds, 10-and-under.
Third-place finishers include:
Ayden Nutsch, 37 pounds, 6-and-under; Jakub Brooks, 46 pounds, 6-and-under; Kohl Newlin, 52 pounds, 6-and-under; Desyn James, 64 pounds, 8-and-under; and Marty Smith, 61 pounds, 10-and-under.
Fourth-place finishers include:
Danner Benfer, 52 pounds, 6-and-under; Nicholas Vignery, 70 pounds, 10-and-under; and Aaron Thornton, 110 pounds, 10-and-under.
Lily Ramirez, 58 pounds, 6-and-under, placed fifth.
The Concordia club had nine wrestlers place in the top six at the Salina Tournament of Champions.
Hunter Schroeder, 73 pounds, 10-and-under, claimed a first-place finish.
Carter Eakins, 52 pounds, 6-and-under, and Zach Strait, 100 pounds, 14-and-under, placed second.
Tracer Murdock, heavyweight, 6-and-under, and Braxtin Mason, 73 pounds, 8-and-under, finished third.
Blake Leiszler, 85 pounds, 14-and-under, finished fifth.
Tristan Allsman, heavyweight, 6-and-under; Shelby Giersch, 110 pounds, 10-and-under; and Wyatt Trost, 100 pounds, 12-and-under, finished sixth.
