ConKids have three individual champs
MANHATTAN — Led by three individual champions, the Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had 17 wrestlers place in the top five at the Little Apple Classic.
Tristen Cuellar, 58 pounds, 6-and-under; Kameron Knox, 67 pounds, 8-and-under; and Wyatt Trost, 90 pounds, 10-and-under, captured individual titles.
Second-place finishers include:
Ian Ketterman, 88 pounds, 6-and-under; Eyann Zimmerman, 139 pounds, 10-and-under; and Carson McMillan, 81 pounds, 12-and-under.
Third-place finishers include:
Zane Cuellar, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Koby Knox, 49 pounds, 8-and-under; Braxtin Mason, 64 pounds, 8-and-under; Drew Brown, 73 pounds, 8-and-under; Shelby Giersch, 100 pounds, 10-and-under; Zachary Strait, 88 pounds, 12-and-under; and Tracer Workman, 125 pounds, 14-and-under.
Drew Sterrett, 46 pounds, 6-and-under, and Anthony Bieker, 100 pounds, 10-and-under, placed fourth.
Chris LaPolice, 40 pounds, 6-and-under, Justus Trost, 70 pounds, 6-and-under, placed fifth.
In the Hutchinson Tournament, Keyan Miller placed first in the 76-pound class in the 8-and-under division.
Zachary Strait captured first place in the 88-pound class in the 12-and-under division at the Jena Rieschick Memorial Tournament.
