Panthers shut out Marysville

MARYSVILLE — The Concordia Panthers upped their record to 3-0 by shutting out Marysville 20-0 in eighth grade football play on Thursday.
Rope Dorman scored on a 17-yard run in the second quarter to give Concordia a 6-0 lead.
Concordia got a 7-yard touchdown run by Dorman in the third period. Matthew Davenport threw to Dorman for two-point conversion to make it a 14-0 game.
Billy Bechard scored on a 17-yard run in the third quarter, and the Panthers led 20-0.
Dorman carried the ball 11 times for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
Tyler Stupka finished with 46 yards on eight carries and Bechard had 28 yards on five carries.
Blake Leiszler had a fumble recovery for Concordia.
