Eighth grade girls fall

MARYSVILLE — The Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team suffered a 25-23 loss to Marysville on Monday.
Concordia got out to a 4-1 lead on Marysville in the first quarter.
Marysville scored six points in the second stanza, to four for Concordia, and trailed just 8-7 at halftime.
Each team pumped in 10 points in the third quarter, and the Panthers had an 18-17 advantage.
Marysville outscored Concordia 8-5 in the final period to rally for the win.
Taylor McDaniel scored 13 points for the Panthers.
