Eighth grade girls lose to Abilene
ABILENE — Abilene dealt the Concordia eighth grade girls’ basketball team a 41-21 defeat on Tuesday.
Concordia trailed 14-10 after one quarter of play.
Abilene outscored the Panthers 12-2 in the second stanza to go up 26-12 at halftime.
Scoring seven points in the third quarter, and giving up just three, Abilene led 33-15.
Concordia scored six points in the final quarter to eight for Abilene.
Jordan Eshbaugh tossed in 15 points for the Panthers.
The Concordia B-team lost 29-11 to Abilene.
Abilene led 12-6 at halftime and scored 17 points in the second half to five for the Panthers.
Allayna Hanson scored six points for Concordia.
Playing two quarters, the Concordia C-team fell 14-2 to Abilene.
Mallory Thompson scored the two points for Concordia.
