Eighth grade loses, 16-12
MARYSVILLE — The Concordia eighth grade girls’ basketball team was beaten 16-12 by Marysville on Monday.
The game was tied at 4-4 after one quarter of play.
Each team scored six points in the second period, and it was 10-10 at halftime.
Concordia was shut out in the third quarter, and Marysville scored four points to go up 14-10.
The two teams scored two points each in the final stanza.
Jordan Eshbaugh led Concordia with eight points.
Carley Martin and Jennifer Garcia had two points each.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 22-12 by Marysville.
It was a 10-10 game at halftime.
Marysville limited Concordia to two points in the second half, and scored 12 points.
Jissel Garcia and Olivia Nelson scored four points each for the Panthers.
