F&A ends regular season with two wins over Linn

F&A Food Sales wrapped up its regular season with a pair of lopsided wins over Linn in a K-18 Baseball doubleheader Friday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the first inning, F&A Food Sales won the first game 15-5 in four innings.
F&A Food Sales knocked off Linn 15-0 in three innings in the second game.
Sending 15 batters to the plate, F&A Food Sales put up 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning in game one.
Blaze Payeur singled, walked and scored two runs in the inning.
Ethan Bechard singled, was hit by a pitch and scored two runs.
Garrett Lawrence had two singles and scored a run.
Linn cut the deficit in half with five runs in the top of the second inning.
Payeur had an inside the park home run as F&A Food Sales added three runs in the bottom of the second to go up 13-5.
F&A Food Sales pushed the lead to 15-5 with two runs in the third inning.
Lawrence tripled and scored.
The game ended after the top of the fourth inning.
Jacob Palmquist was the winning pitcher for F&A Food Sales.
In the second game, F&A Food Sales racked up 13 runs on 15 hits in the bottom of the first inning.
Dalton Walters singled, tripled and scored two runs.
Caleb Strait and Trevor Tholstrup each singled, doubled and scored two runs.
Colby Trost and Logan Widen had two singles and scored two runs each.
Palmquist had a pair of singles in the inning.
Strait and Tholstrup each walked and scored in the second inning to make it 15-0.
Lawrence shut out Linn on one hit.
Strait and Tholstrup had two hits and scored three runs each.
