Family Health Mart wins, 9-6

Shylan Koch-Tyler and Austin Kaufman combined for four hits and five runs to lead Family Health Mart to a 9-6 win over the American Legion in Peewee Baseball action Monday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Koch-Tyler homered in the first inning, singled in the second and scored two runs.
Kaufman had a single and double and scored three runs.
Dale Deneault had two hits for Family Health Mart.
In the other game played Monday night, the Lions edged 16th Street Car Wash, 7-6.
The American Legion took a 3-0 lead on Family Health Mart in the top of the first inning.
Koch-Tyler homered in the bottom of the inning, and Family Health Mart pushed across three runs to tie the game at 3-3.
Family Health Mart then scored four runs on five hits in the bottom of the second inning to go up 7-3.
The American Legion picked up one run in the third inning and one in the top of the fourth to make it a 7-5 game.
Family Health Mart tacked on two runs in the bottom of the fourth, and led 9-5.
The American Legion scored one run in the fifth inning.
Koch-Tyler pitched all five innings for Family Health Mart.
Kyler Caspers pitched for the American Legion.
Phoenix Vansant had two hits for the American Legion and Chance LeDuc scored two runs.

16th Street Car Wash 6
The Lions scored seven runs in the top of the first inning, and held on to defeat 16th Street Car Wash, 7-6.
Sending 13 batters to the plate, the Lions got out to the big lead in the first.
16th Street Car Wash scored single runs in the first, second, third and fourth innings to make it a 7-4 game.
Two runs on three hits in the bottom of the fifth inning got the Lions within a run, 7-6.
Alex Bonebrake did the pitching for the Lions.
Joey Jessup and Rustyn Kindel pitched for 16th Street Car Wash.
Treyton Kindel had two hits for the Lions.
Rustyn Kindel had two hits and scored two runs for 16th Street Car Wash. Oakley Champlin had two hits.
