Fifth grade Panthers shut out Russell
Scoring twice in the fourth quarter the Concordia Panthers shut out the Russell Patriots 13-0 in fifth grade Salvation Army Football Saturday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Concordia wrapped up its regular season with a 2-3 record.
The game was scoreless through three quarters.
Bradley Edin scored for Concordia to make it a 6-0 game in the final period.
The Panthers added a touchdown by Jacob Williams.
Wyatt Trost ran in the extra point to put Concordia up 13-0.
Trost finished with 63 yards rushing on 18 carries.
Williams had 45 yards on 12 carries.
Eyann Zimmerman had five tackles for the Panthers. Edin had three tackles.
The Panthers will play the Ottawa County Falcons at Minneapolis in the postseason at 10 a.m. Saturday.
