Four T-Birds place in top ten

EL DORADO —Led by Benard Keter the Cloud County men’s cross country team had three runners finish in the top ten at the Butler County Invitational here on Friday.
Keter finished first with a time of 14:45 in the 5K race.
 Cloud County’s Quinton Isaacson was ninth in 18:34 and Shilo Goracke was 10th in 18:36.
 Hunter Hosler rounded out the T-Birds runners with a 13th place finish in 19:00.
Katie Lambert led the women with a third place finish in 16:40 time in the 4K race.
 Kendra Alcorn was 21st in 19:26, Valentine Kitur, 22nd, 20:01, Allyn Purdy, 23rd, 20:02 and Brianna Wickersham 27th in 22:03.
 “Everyone competed well under poor footing and conditions,” said Cloud County Coach Drew Mahin.
 Cloud County will compete next in the Region 6 meet on October 28th.
