Freshman girls lose
Holton defeated the Concordia freshman girls’ basketball team 48-14 on Saturday.
Concordia trailed 12-1 after one quarter of play.
Holton outscored the Panthers 12-2 in the second period to go up 24-3 at halftime.
The Wildcats added 12 points in the third quarter, to six for Concordia, and led 36-9.
Holton scored 12 points in the final period to five for the Panthers.
Karlie Blochlinger and Hunter Mendenhall scored four points each for Concordia.
