Garcia named Outstanding Senior Basketball Player

Alan Garcia was named the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Basketball Player Award during the banquet to honor the Concordia High School boys’ basketball team.
Garcia, a 5-9 guard, averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the Panthers. He received All-North Central Kansas League honorable mention.
Freshman Cooper Holmes was presented the Ed Walters Free Throw Award. He shot a League best 82.2 percent from the line.
Joshua Pounds received the Garrett Farha Assist Award. He averaged 3.9 assists per game to lead the League.
Panthers receiving varsity letters include:
Garcia, Holmes, Pounds, Gabe Bergmann, Grant Holmes and Kaleb Pounds.
Receiving participation awards include:
Manny Mares, Gilberth Garcia, Colby Trost, Christian Wetter, Chase Streeter, Ethan Bechard, Caleb Strait, Dalton Walters, Karter Steinle, Jerod Toogood, Jose A. Nava and manager Trey Workman.
