JV girls lose
The Concordia junior varsity girls basketball team was beaten 42-30 by Beloit Friday night in the Concordia High School gymnasium.
The game was tied 7-7 after one quarter of play.
Beloit outscored the Panthers 12-5 in the second period to go up 19-12 at halftime.
The Trojans tacked on 13 points in the third period to six for Concordia to make it 32-18.
Concordia scored 12 points in the final quarter to 10 for Beloit.
Jera Metro paced the Panthers with eight points.
Jennifer Boley scored six points for Concordia.
