JV loses to Abilene
ABILENE — The Concordia junior varsity boys’ basketball team suffered a 56-41 loss to Abilene on Friday.
Concordia trailed just 16-15 after one quarter of play.
Abilene outscored the Panthers 14-8 in the second period to go up 30-23 at halftime.
The Cowboys tossed in 16 points in the third quarter, to 11 for Concordia, and led 46-34.
Abilene added 10 points in the final period, the Panthers scored seven.
Jerod Toogood scored 11 points for Concordia. Jace Coppoc added 10 points.
