Local wrestlers place in four tournaments

The Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had wrestlers competing in four different tournaments over the weekend.
Concordia had 14 wrestlers place in the top six in the Newton Open/Novice Tournament.
Placing first include:
Carter Eakins, 52 pounds, 6-and-under; Hunter Schroeder, 95 pounds, 10-and-under; Wyatt Trost, 100 pounds, 12-and-under; and Zachary Strait, 100 pounds, 14-and-under.
Second-place finishers include:
Jakub Brooks, 46 pounds, 6-and-under; Kale Schroeder, 49 pounds, 6-and-under; Christian Belden, 43 pounds, 8-and-under; Easton Swihart, 55 pounds, 8-and-under; Jaxon Brooks, 58 pounds, 8-and-under; Caden Womack, 85 pound, 10-and-under; and Phoenix Vansant, 90 pounds, 10-and-under.
Austen Huehl, 76 pounds, 10-and-under, and Shelby Giersch, 110 pounds, 10-and-under, placed third.
Desyn James, 64 pounds, 8-and-under, placed sixth.
Concordia had 15 wrestlers place in the top five at the Marysville Tournament.
Rush LeDuc, 43 pounds, 6-and-under, placed first.
Second-place finishers include:
Logan Jackson, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Koby Koch, 55 pounds, 8-and-under; Taylor Mason, 150 pounds, 10-and-under; and Layton Kindel, 88 pounds, 12-and-under.
Third-place finishers include:
Dustin Sterrett, 58 pounds, 8-and-under; Dylan Thoman, 82 pounds, 10-and-under; and Carson McMillan, 88 pounds, 12-and-under.
Fourth-place finishers include:
Drew Sterrett, 52 pounds, 6-and-under; Tristan Allsman, 76 pounds, 6-and-under; Trenton McMillan, 52 pounds, 8-and-under; Braxtin Mason, 76 pounds, 8-and-under; Braxton Kindel, 64 pounds, 10-and-under; and Drew Brown, 82 pounds, 10-and-under.
Jamie Perring, 76 pounds, 10-and-under, placed fifth.
At the Nickerson Tournament, Kassidy Leiszler, 68 pounds, 12-and-under, placed first.
Keyan Miller, 90 pounds, 10-and-under, finished third.
Logan Leiszler, 64 pounds, 10-and-under, placed fifth.
Competing in the Derby Novice Tournament, Drew Benfer, 90 pounds, 10-and-under, placed second.
Davin Benfer, 64 pounds, 8-and-under, finished fourth.
Desyn James, 64 pounds, 8-and-under, placed fifth.
