Panther JV tumbles

Smoky Valley defeated the Concordia junior varsity boys’ basketball team 41-35 Friday night in the Concordia High School gymnasium.
Concordia led the game 9-8 at the end of the first quarter.
Smoky Valley limited the Panthers to seven points in the second period, and pumped in 17, to go up 25-16 at halftime.
The Vikings added seven points in the third quarter, to six for Concordia, and it was 32-22.
Concordia outscored Smoky Valley 13-9 in the final stanza.
Chase Streeter led Concordia with 14 points.
Manny Mares scored 11 points for the Panthers.
