Panthers beat Abilene
Five players scored six or more points as the Concordia junior varsity girls' basketball team rolled to a 50-24 win over Abilene on Friday.
Terin Rundus led the way for Concordia with 14 points.
Karlee Wahlmeier tossed in nine points.
Abby Donovan and Genna Strait scored seven points each, and Kendall Reynolds added six points.
Concordia jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers pumped in 16 points in the second stanza, and gave up just six, to extend the lead to 30-10 at halftime.
Concordia outscored Abilene 11-5 in the third period to make it 41-15.
Each team scored nine points in the final quarter.
The Concordia C-team was beaten 24-14 by Abilene in two quarters of play.
Kira Kearn scored seven points for Concordia.
