Panthers third at Marysville Invitational

MARYSVILLE — A day after winning their own tournament, the Concordia Panthers finished third in the Marysville Invitational.
Led by Grant Holmes, the Panthers posted a four-man score of 350 Tuesday at Marysville Country Club.
Nemaha Valley won the tournament with a 332. Abilene was second with a 346.
Holmes had rounds of 43-41 to card an 84 and finish fifth individually.
Concordia had Christian Wetter shoot 44-43 for an 87. He tied for 10th place, but lost a scorecard playoff.
Chase Streeter matched Wetter with an 87. He had rounds of 41-46.
Micah Fabarez rounded out the top four for the Panthers with 45-47 for an 92.
Cooper Holmes carded a 93 for Concordia, and James McCabe had a 101.
Zach Bradley, Nemaha Valley was the medalist with an 82.
Trent Oberding, Nemaha Valley, shot 82 to finish third.
Ryan Helus, Wamego, was third with an 83.
