Seventh grade loses to Abilene

The Concordia seventh grade boys’ basketball team suffered a 35-26 home loss to Abilene on Thursday.
Concordia got out to a 10-7 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers limited Abilene to three points in the second period, and scored five to take a 15-10 advantage.
Abilene outscored Concordia 10-2 in the third quarter to go up 20-17.
The Panthers scored nine points in the final quarter to 15 for Abilene.
Garrett Lawrence led Concordia with 12 points. Tyler Stupka added seven.
The Concordia B-team lost 35-18 to Abilene.
Concordia trailed 11-9 at halftime.
Abilene pumped in 24 points in the second half to nine for the Panthers.
Phillip Lanoue scored nine points for Concordia.
