T-Birds sweep Dodge City
Cloud County evened its record at 11-11 by sweeping Dodge City Community College in a Jayhawk Conference Western Division volleyball match Wednesday night in Bryant Gymnasium.
The Thunderbirds have won three consecutive Conference matches to improve to 6-5.
Cloud County won the first set in the match, 25-19.
The T-Birds downed the Conquistadors 25-21 in the second set.
Cloud County completed the sweep with a 25-9 win the third set.
Erin Terrell had 10 kills in the match for Cloud County.
Hilta Pereira finished with eight kills, and Monica Long had five.
Kylie Penning had four kills, 28 assists and eight digs.
Emily Brown had six digs.
Cloud County hosts Pratt in a Conference match on Tuesday.
