Wrestling club has three place first

HAYSVILLE — The Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had Carter Eakins, Hunter Schroeder and Zach Strait capture first-place finishes at the Haysville King of the Ring Tournament.
Eakins placed first in the 52-pound class in the 6-and-under division. He also competed in the 52-pound class in the 8-and-under division, and finished third.
Schroeder was the individual champion in the 95-pound class in the 10-and-under division.
Strait finished first in the 100-pound class in the 14-and-under division.
Wyatt Trost, 100 pounds, 12-and-under, finished third.
Braxtin Mason, 76 pounds, 8-and-under, placed fourth.
The Concordia Kids Club had 16 wrestlers place in the top five at the Greg Grater Tournament in Clay Center.
First-place finishers include:
Koby Koch, 55 pounds, 8-and-under; Kameron Knox, 80 pounds, 8-and-under; and Caden Womack, 85 pounds, 10-and-under.
Torxsten Kindel, 55 pounds, 8-and-under, and Carson McMillan, 88 pounds, 12-and-under, finished second.
Third-place finishers include:
Dan Kuder, 37 pounds, 6-and-under; Trent Baker, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Logan Jackson, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Nicholas Vignery, 70 pounds, 10-and-under; Keyan Miller, 90 pounds, 10-and-under; and Layton Kindel, 88 pounds, 12-and-under.
Fourth-place finishers include:
Jakub Brooks, 46 pounds, 6-and-under; Trenton McMillan, 52 pounds, 8-and-under; Desyn James, 64 pounds, 8-and-under; and Phoenix Vansant, 90 pounds, 10-and-under.
Shaylan Koch, 100 pounds, 14-and-under, placed fifth.
