Their live show is an open invitation to feel a bold range of human emotion. It reminds you of how vital of an instrumental the home voice can be. A positive energy radiates through their warm acoustic tones. This unique style lingers long after the lights have gone down.
Performing on June 27 will be Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductees Jimmy Dee and the Fabulous Destinations.
Musicians from Victoria formed the group Jimmy Dee and the Fabulous Destinations in the 1970s. Their high energy show featuring hits form the 1950's and early 1960's propelled the band into one of the most popular groups to ever perform in western Kansas.
Performing at clubs and dance halls, the group routinely packed the house every weekend with their most loyal supporters traveling upwards of 100 mile ts to attend performances.
Six members of the original group agreed to get back to together in 2000 and have since recorded three albums, “Round Trip”, “Summer Fund-Dang Near Live” and “Totally Live.”
Red Line Velocity will be performing on July 25. The power rock trio was formed in the spring of 2015 by Grant Lambert and Tommy Watt of Smith and also includes Jason McCartney.
Influenced heavily by classic and modern rock, Red Line Velocity harkens back to the days of exciting, fun live music.
Wrapping up the concert series on August 22 will be the Callahan Band of Wichita.
The Callahan Band is a rowdy county band with a hard drivin', fast beat. The band seems to draw fun-loving crowds wherever they go.
