“The Wonkey Donkey” to be featured at Reading with Friends

“The Wonkey Donkey” by Craig Smith, with illustrations by Katz Cowley, will be this month's book for Reading with Friends, scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Neighbor to Neighbor, 103 East Sixth St.
Children will enjoy the award-winning song in the book along with the hilarious illustrations.
Reading the book for the children will be special guest Dr. Bruce Douglas.
Reading with Friends is for children ages 3-5. It is on the second Friday of each month and will always begin at 1 p.m. Each session includes play time and a snack for the children. Each child will receive a free copy of that day's book to take home.
There is a limit of 30 children per session, and parents must register in advance by calling Neighbor to Neighbor at 785-262-4215 or by email at neighbortoneighbor@csjkansas.org.
