Campbell & Johnson celebrates 50th anniversary

On Friday afternoon, June 7th, Campbell & Johnson Engineering invited the town to their anniversary party at the Broadway Plaza.
The company was founded 50 years ago by Paul Johnson and Ralph Campbell.
"My dad and Ralph started the company as a partnership to serve the town and surrounding county," said Ken Johnson. "I'm proud that it has stayed a family business. We're now a three-generation business. Hopefully a fourth generation will take over and lead us into the future."
Campbell & Johnson carries on the engineering and surveying tasks established by its founders. Much of their work now involves maintaining, repairing and replacing infrastructure that was built a half-century ago, or longer. They are also the official bridge inspectors for Cloud County and several neighboring counties.
"We're so proud that this business was set up in a small community and stayed here," Johnson said. "It means a lot to us to serve the needs of this community for 50 years."
Happy anniversary, Campbell & Johnson!
