CCHD confirms 37th case of COVID-19 in Cloud County

A 37th case of COVID-19 in Cloud County has been confirmed by the Cloud County Health Department.
Cloud County Health Department administrator Brandi Bray said that the positive case involves a minor who has minimal symptoms.
According to KNCK News, Bray reported that the rest of the family tested negative.
No further information about the patient will be released.
The Health Department is working to identify close contacts to the person who tested positive.
Close contacts will be monitored for fever and respiratory symptoms.
On Saturday, the Health Department reported that a Cloud County resident who had tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday had died.
The female patient was over the age of 80 with underlying health conditions. She had been in isolation at her place of residence.
Bray said on Monday that about 100 COVID-19 tests will be performed as a result of the positive test.
There have been a total of 761 COVID-19 tests done in Cloud County with 717 of those being negative. There are seven tests pending.
