CITY POOL WILL CLOSE UNTIL JULY 3

Recent confirmed positive COVID-19 cases and resultant quarantine orders of close contacts has impacted summer recreation activities in the City of Concordia. The following information is current as of 3:00 p.m., Thursday June 25, and is subject to change.

 

    The Concordia Sports Complex is closed, effective immediately through July 3. No games or practices for any teams will be held during this time. Restrooms will be closed.
    The Battle of the Badges softball game scheduled for 2:00PM on Sunday, June 28 has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.
    The Concordia Municipal Pool will close at 5:00 p.m. today, Thursday, June 25, and will remain closed through July 3.

 

This situation will be re-evaluated prior to July 3 based on information available, and decisions regarding scheduling and programming will be made at that time. The City of Concordia thanks everyone for their understanding, flexibility, and encourages our community to remain diligent in their efforts to keep the spread of COVID-19 at a manageable level by following orders issued by the Cloud County Health Department and our County Health Officer.
