Concordia High School to crown Winter Sports royalty

Concordia High School will crown a Winter Sports queen and king on Friday night.
Queen candidates are Abby Donovan, Abby Fredrickson, Sierra Gropp, Taylor Smith and Shea Trecek.
King candidates are Easton Atwood, Chase Parker, Ismael Perez Marquez, Max Rincon-Charbonneau and Cole Stahlman.
The queen and king will be crowned in between the girls' and boys' basketball games against Chapman.
The Winter Sports assembly is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. Friday in the high school auditorium. It will include the introduction of the candidates, the Cat Scratch Productions candidate videos and the musical performance “Spring Day” by senior Yancey Tantuico.
Attendance to the assembly will be limited to members of the senior class and the parents of the candidates.
Students in grades 7-11 and members of the community can view the live stream of the assembly on the Concordia Public Schools Media Productions YouTube channel.
Theme days for the week include: Monday – Pajama Day; Tuesday – Denim Day; Wednesday – Generations Day; Thursday – Superheroes Day; Friday – Panther Day.
