Driver cited for leaving scene of hit-and-run

The Concordia Police Department reported Monday morning that a driver has been cited for leaving the scene of an accident in connection to a hit-and-run that was reported last week.
According to a report from the police department, officers investigated a hit-and-run at the intersection of Ninth and Lincoln Street last Wednesday at approximately 9:30 a.m.
An older, blue, two-door pickup truck fled the location after striking a subject on a bicycle.
The police department requested assistance in identifying the vehicle involved in the accident.
"We appreciate the public's assistance in finding a resolution to this incident," Concordia Police Chief Brent Gering stated in the news release.
There has been no further information about the accident released.
