Gerard to speak at Pause Paws presentation

Kim Gerard, CEO and founder of 360 Electrical, LLC, a leader in innovative electrical products, will speak to Concordia High School students on Thursday as part of the Pause Paws program.
Pause Paws is a career exploration program which began in September. There will be 16 speakers, most with ties to Concordia and Cloud County, who will speak to about 75 students about their careers and a value that is important beyond high school.
Gerard's presentation will begin at 8:15 a.m. and will be live-streamed for the general public and the students who cannot attend in person through the high school video production team on the Cat Scratch Production YouTube channel.
A 1978 graduate of Concordia High School, Gerard attended Cloud County Community College and received bachelor degrees in civil engineering and environmental engineering from Kansas State University.
Gerard worked in the petroleum industry with Conoco Oil Company in various positions and lived in many places, from the North Slope of Alaska to Atlanta. She then went to work for TransMontaigne and helped build the company and take it public before serving as partner and vice president at Petro Source.
After 20 years in the petroleum industry, Gerard retired and started 360 Electrical, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company was born from sheer frustration of being unable to fully utilize a standard electrical outlet. It all began with a patent for rotating electrical devices. The company has expanded to multiple product lines including cords, strips, tabs, mobile, smart and heavy duty.
Having become dedicated to fitness and healthy living, Gerard opened a personal training gym in 2015 to help people obtain their health goals. She continues to work with people on fitness and nutrition.
Splitting her time between Arizona, Utah and Wyoming, Gerard has become involved in ministry efforts in the United States, Africa and Cambodia.
