Graduation ceremony set for CHS Class of 2020

The Concordia High School Class of 2020, after months of waiting, will be honored during a commencement exercise scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Graduation for the 63 Concordia seniors was originally scheduled for May 17. That was postponed after Kansas Governor Laura Kelly issued an order on March 20 closing all schools in Kansas.
Macy McMillan is the valedictorian of the CHS Class of 2020. Jacob Williams is the salutatorian.
Each graduate will be allowed to have four guests in the school for the ceremony. Tickets for each guest will be handed out during graduation practice on Saturday.
Everybody who enters the school for graduation will be required to wear a mask.
A professional photographer will take a picture of each senior receiving their diploma. Those pictures will be available to be purchased.
All photography by those in the audience must be done from the seating location or outside of the building after the ceremony.
Graduates may remove their masks when stepping onto the stage to receive their diplomas. They must then re-mask upon exiting the stage.
The graduation ceremony will air live on the Cat Scratch Productions YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/stiles212.
