Jamestown’s Smith among finalists for Mayor of the Year

Randy Smith, mayor of Jamestown, is among five finalists for 2019 Kansas Mayor of the Year.
The Mayor of the Year award will be presented during the Leadership Summit and Kansas Mayor's Conference on Friday in Salina.
The other finalists for the award are Ben Lawrence, Andover; William Ewert, Halstead; Jon Brady, Overbrook; and Artie Stuteville, Paola.
The Kansas Mayor's Association selects the Mayor of the Year annually to recognize a Kansas mayor who has uniquely contributed to their community and to the association.
Anyone can nominate a mayor for the honor.
