KDOT approves bid for overlay project on U.S. 81

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.
A bid from Hall Brothers Inc., Marysville, of $1,091,272.71 for a two-inch overlay project on U.S. Highway 81 in Cloud County was approved.
The project will include the southbound lanes only from 3.94 miles south of Concordia north to the city  limits.
