KDOT replacing, installing signs in Cloud County

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) began a project to replace and install signs on rural roads in Cloud County today.
Traffic will be carried through construction and reduced to one lane at the location where the contractor is actively working.
Signs UP LTD, Webster, Iowa, is the prime contractor. The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-January, weather permitting, at a cost of $99,000.
KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone. To stay aware of all road construction projects across Kansas go to www.kandrive.org or call 5-1-1.
