MCT to present “The Snow Queen”

The Missoula Children's Theater (MCT) is in Concordia to present 'The Snow Queen,' a tale of fun-loving Hobgoblins who journey to the “land of colored ice,” and a young girl on a quest to find her best friend. It's a story with malevolent mirrors, yetis, talking reindeer, and snow chickens.
MTC was founded to foster creativity and enhance innate capabilities by providing access to community-driven performing arts experiences. More than 20 local students will perform in this original musical adaptation.
The local cast features Alli Klima as Gerda; Laethen Stevensen as her best friend, Kay; and Bella Ring as the Snow Queen. Alyssa Robbins will play Grandma/Finnish Woman; Braelyn Douglas plays Bae; and Mr. and Mrs. Crow will be Ashtin Kibler-DeYoe and Taygen LeDuc. Izaak Robbins and Piper Ferrell will play the Prince and Princess. The imaginative, fun-loving Hobgoblins are Brady Strait, Tre Hamiel, and Broc Klima. The Robbers will be played by Jason Underwood, Maizy Ferrell, Tia Strait, and Isaac Ring, and the Snow Chickens are Dominic Ring, Connor Underwood and Londyn Journee.
The performance will be Saturday, July 13th, at 3 p.m. at the Brown Grand Theatre. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students and are available from the students and at the door.
The Missoula Children's Theatre residency in Concordia is brought to you by Brown Grand Opera House, Inc., with support from the Cloud County Community Foundation. For more information, call Jason Grogan at 243-2553.
