Accident – At about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, officers investigated an accident in the 900 block of West 11th Street involving vehicles driven by Thomas Thronson, Mankato, and Whitney Sipe, Concordia.

Sheriff's Office Report
Accidents – At about 7:30 p.m. October 11, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident in the 2300 section of Union Road. A 2017 Ford passenger car driven by Carly Bloomfield, Clifton, was traveling eastbound when it struck a deer.
At about 7:20 p.m. October 12, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident in the 1300 section of North 170th Road. A 2013 Dodge pickup driven by Paul Gladbach, Clyde, was traveling northbound when it struck a deer.
At about 2:40 p.m. Monday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a three-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 81 near Bell Road. A 2008 Kenworth semi driven by Claude Sams, Miltonvale, was pulling a grain trailer while traveling northbound. As Sams was slowing to turn eastbound on Bell Road, a 2005 Dodge passenger car driven by Connor Wetter, 20, Norfolk, Neb., was traveling northbound and rear-ended the semi.
After striking the semi, Wetter's vehicle veered onto the shoulder and struck a 2019 Dodge Ram being driven by Barry Morehead, St. Joseph, Mo. Miltonvale EMS and Concordia Rural rescue units responded to the scene.
Wetter and a passenger in his vehicle, Elley Beaver, 19, Columbus, Neb., were transported by Miltonvale EMS to Salina Regional Health Center.
At about 9:35 p.m. Monday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident in the 1000 section of K-9 Highway. A 2013 Chevrolet pickup driven by Mark Etsey, Glasco, was traveling northbound when it struck a deer.
Arrest – At about 11:55 a.m. Monday, a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy stopped a vehicle for a violation in the 1300 section of U.S. Highway 81. During the traffic stop, deputies arrested Christina Deal, Concordia, charging her with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked. Deal was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
