Police Dept. Report
Accidents – At 12:15 p.m. Thursday, officers investigated an accident in the 2100 block of Lincoln Street involving vehicles driven by Peter Troshynski, North Platte, Neb. and Brenton Weems, Linsdborg. Troshynski was cited for no proof of insurance and driving on an expired driver's license.
Angel Lohan reported she had struck property owned by Walmart at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East College Drive.
At 8:55 a.m. Saturday, officers investigated an accident in at the intersection of Lincoln Street and East College Drive involving a vehicle driven by David Bredthauer, Omaha, Neb. and property owned by the city of Concordia.
Arrests – Officers arrested Jonathan T. Capaccio, 32, Concordia, at 6:50 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of  West Sixth Street on a Cloud County warrant for failure to comply. Capaccio  is also being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
Officers arrested Judy F. Vanwey, 21, Concordia, at 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street on a Mitchell County warrant. Vanwey is also being charged with possession of marijuana and distribution of a controlled substance and was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
Officers conducting a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Lincoln Street at 11:15 p.m. Friday arrested Chelsea R. Schmitz, 19, Concordia, charging her with minor in possession and Cody L. Frakes, 22, Concordia, charging him with transporting an open container. Both Schmitz and Frakes were cited and released.
