Arrests—At 12:55 a.m. Friday, officers arrested Eric Strait, 30, Concordia, in the 200 block of East Sixth Street. He was charged with battery and endangerment of a child and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.

At 11:25 p.m. Thursday, officers arrested James Ninemire, 44, Concordia, in the 100 block of East College Drive on a Cloud County warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.

Accident—At 10:45 a.m. Thursday, officers investigated an accident that had occurred on May 27 at 18th and Cedar involving a vehicle driven by Garold Johnson, Concordia and property owned by the American Legion.

Theft—At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, officers investigated a theft which had occurred in the 100 block of West 13th. Investigation continues.

Sheriff's Dept. Report
At about 12:55 p.m. Monday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to an injury accident in the 500 section of U.S. Highway 81. A 2002 Ford 150 pickup driven by Merlyn Adee, Miltonvale, was traveling southbound when it entered the west ditch. The vehicle struck an embankment before continuing through a fence owned by the Kansas Department of Transportation. The vehicle came to rest in a field owned by Charles Hansen. Adee was transported by Miltonvale EMS to the Cloud County Health Center.
