Police Dept. Report
Arrests – At 9:05 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the report of a fight in the 1400 block of Lincoln Street which led to the arrest of Derrick Jumper, 28, Concordia. He was charged with domestic battery and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At 11:10 a.m. Monday, officers arrested Jennifer Bender, 43, Concordia, in the 800 block of Washington Street on a Saline Count warrant and transported her to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At 6:50 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a disturbance reported in the 300 block of East First Street which led to the arrest of Jason Carter, 42, Concordia, and Frank Miller, 47, Concordia. Both were cited for disorderly conduct and released.
At 6:40 p.m. Sunday, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Ninth Street which led to the arrest of Ryan Crump, 35, Concordia. He was charged with driving while suspended and released.
Accidents – At 2:05 p.m. Monday, officers investigated an accident in the 1000 block of Lincoln Street involving a vehicle driven by Warren Slingsby, Green, and property owned by Dairy Queen.
At 4:05 p.m. Saturday, officers investigated an accident in the 100 block of East College Drive involving a motorcycle driven by Christopher Montague, Delphos.
At 4:30 p.m. Friday, officers investigated an accident in the 1600 block of Lincoln Street involving vehicles driven by Dixie Barnes, Clyde and Jeffery Rhodes, Concordia.

 

Sheriff's Office Report
Arrests – At about 5 a.m. June 11, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to the Cloud County Fairgrounds for the report of a possible domestic altercation. During the investigation, information was obtained which led to deputies applying for and receiving a search warrant for a camper parked at the fairgrounds. A search of the camper led to the arrest of Ashley Steve-Dyar and Travis Stark, both of Wichita. Both were charged with domestic battery, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a depressant, unlawfully obtaining a prescription-only drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and distribution of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At about 7:30 p.m. June 11, a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 600 section of K-28 Highway. During the stop, deputies arrested Keith Eilert, Salina, for driving while revoked. He was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At about 1:40 p.m. Sunday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to 539 North 30th Road for a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies arrested Kyle Hoppe, Glasco, for domestic battery. He was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
Accidents – At about 3:40 p.m. June 8, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2400 section of U.S. Highway 24. A 1987 GMC pickup driven by Zachery Paillet, Miltonvale, was backing when the vehicle left the road and struck a culvert owned by the Kansas Department of Transportation, causing the vehicle to overturn in the south ditch.
At about 4:25 a.m. June 9, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle accident in the 200 section of K-28 Highway. Prior to deputies arriving on the scene, the driver and any other occupants had left the scene. An investigation into the accident revealed that the vehicle, a 2012 Ford Fiesta, was stolen from Jewell. The vehicle was traveling southbound on K-28 Highway when it left the road near Union Road. The vehicle entered the south ditch striking an embankment which disabled it. The incident remains under investigation.
