Salina man arrested following police pursuit

A Salina man was arrested for multiple traffic violations following a police pursuit early Sunday morning.
The Concordia Police Department reported that an officer attempted to stop a black 1999 Pontiac Grand Am for disobeying a stop sign at 18th and Lincoln at about 1 a.m.
The vehicle failed to stop for police, and a chase ensued.
The car eventually stopped in the alley north of the 300 block of West 18th Street, and the suspect fled the scene.
An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Ted N. Tieking, 37, Salina. He was taken into custody at a residence in the 300 block of West 18th Street at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Tieking was charged with flee and elude, reckless driving, driving while revoked along with multiple traffic violations. He also had a Republic County warrant for failure to appear and a Cloud County warrant for driving while revoked.
