Shana Housenkids crowned Miss CASA
Shana Housenkids (Shane Britt) was crowned 2018 Miss CASA during the 15th Annual CASA Men in Tights Pageant Sunday afternoon in the Concordia High School auditorium.
Britt is the director of residence life and student engagement at Cloud County Community College. He is also on the North Central Kansas CASA board of directors.
Men in Tights is the largest fundraiser for NCK CASA.
Kris P. Chelle (Barrett Jones) was voted winner of Best Talent. Jezebel Monroe (Jeff Sacco) received winner of Best Evening Gown. Princess Di-Section (Josh Urban) received Best Interview, and Lumber Jackie (Jack Widen) received Best Spirit and People's Choice Award.
NCK CASA trains and supports volunteers to provide advocacy for abused and/or neglected children under the court's jurisdiction in the 12th Judicial District of Kansas.
The 12th Judicial District includes Cloud, Jewell, Lincoln, Mitchell, Republic and Washington counties.
