USD 333 announces guidelines for attending events

Concordia Unified School District 333 has announced the spectator guidelines that have been established by the North Central Kansas League for athletic events this fall.
USD 333 will adhere to the established guidelines when possible.
Spectator attendance for all events will be limited to 25 percent of venue capacity.
USD 333 is setting up a box office on its website for ticket purchases. There will be no walk-up ticket purchases allowed. There will be priority given to parents of the participants.
Details on how to purchase tickets will be released by the school district at a later date.
Those attending activities must social distance in all district facilities, indoors and outdoors.
Masks will be required for all activities taking place in indoor facilities.
At outdoor facilities, masks will be required to be worn during entry, in concession area, restroom areas and any time social distancing can not be maintained.
Spectators will not be allowed near participant groups or on the field/court. Only essential personnel will be allowed near participant groups.
Temperatures will be checked prior to admission to events. Those attending must have a temperature of less than 100.4 degrees to be allowed to enter.
The NCKL has established sport-specific requirements. Those include:
Football: 25% venue capacity attendance numbers. Roughly 2-4 spectators per participant, which may vary based on venue; athletic director responsible for reminding the crowd to social distance; masks required to be worn during entry, in concession area, restroom areas, and any time social distancing can not be maintained. Athletes masked unless directly engaged in the activity; PA announcers make reminders regarding social distancing throughout contests; teams will limit time spent in locker rooms; sideline personnel required to wear masks; sideline is extended to the 10 yd line on both ends to provide more space for teams; fans may have temperatures checked prior to admission, temperatures must be less than 100.4.
Volleyball: 25% venue capacity attendance numbers. Roughly 2 spectators per participant, which may vary based on venue; athletic director responsible for reminding the crowd to social distance; masks will be worn by all persons except those players actively participating in a contest; recommended that teams show up dressed; team will stay on one bench the entire match; avoid huddles after each dead ball; teams will provide their own warm-up balls; fans may have temperatures checked prior to admission, temperatures must be less than 100.4.
Cross county: Attendance numbers are based on number of teams participating and host school preference; masks required to be worn during entry, in concession area (if applicable), restroom areas, and any time social distancing can not be maintained; limit contact with runners at the finish line area; athletes will bring their own water bottle; no pre-race huddles; mark starting area to ensure social distancing; recommended staggering starts; no awards ceremony. Medals will be distributed to coaches.
Golf: No limits on attendance numbers. AD responsible for reminding the crowd to social distance; athletes will bring their own water bottle; masks will be worn by all persons except those players actively participating in a contest when social distancing cannot be maintained; no awards ceremony. Medals will be distributed to coaches.
Tennis: No limits on attendance numbers. AD responsible for reminding the crowd to social distance; masks required to be worn when social distancing can not be maintained; athletes will bring their own water bottle; no awards ceremony. Medals will be distributed to coaches.
