BENNIE "JR" WORKMAN

Bennie “Jr.” Workman, age 66, died Wed., October 16, 2019, at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, Kan. He was born on Nov. 30, 1952, to Bennie E. & Eva E. (Ramseyer) Workman.
Jr. attended Concordia schools. He worked for Fief Sand Co., later Alsop Sand Co., from 1975 until his retirement in 2003 as the facility manager. He married Patty Hanson on Feb. 8, 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Patty, Concordia; daughter, Tisha Mendenhall (Randy), Concordia; son, Troy Workman (Chris), Andale; sisters, Sharon Roy (Rex), Clyde & Darlene Terry, Green River, Wyo.; brothers, Frank Workman (Penny), Evenston, Wyo., Ed Workman, Concordia, Jim Workman (Chris), Concordia & Don Ramseyer (Joann), Clyde; a special niece, Kim Sicard (Bruce), Concordia; grandchildren, Dustin, Shalana, Dakota, Abigail, Zach & Addison; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Harper, Camden and Lachlan (on the way) & a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Durl & Rex Workman; sister, Burnedette Workman & a nephew, Jimmy Payne.
The family selected cremation and will celebrate Jr.’s life on Monday, October 21, 2019, from 1-8 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
