BONNIE L. FERGUSON

Bonnie L. Ferguson, age 87, left this earthly life on Sunday, September 01, 2019, at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, Kan. She was born on November 17, 1931, in Mankato, Kan., to Harvey R. & Sadie M. (Everson) Renner.
Bonnie was a graduate of Mankato High School in 1949 and later from Kansas State University with a degree in education. She taught home economics at Clyde High School and was a homemaker. She also was a veterinary assistant for her husband with his veterinary practice whenever he needed her help.
She married Dr. John R. Ferguson (Swede) on June 3, 1951, in Manhattan, Kansas.
Bonnie and Swede were active members in the Clyde United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of several different ladies circles in the Clyde area and spent numerous years judging county fairs throughout north central Kansas.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Brian Ferguson (Theresa), Littleton, Colo.; Corey Ferguson (Sandy), Salina & Dana Ferguson, Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Eva Jane Renner, Germanton, N.C.; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, John; an infant child & her parents.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019, at The Branch in Clyde, Kansas, with Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde.
Friends may sign the register book on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, from 1-8 p.m. at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde, Kansas.
