GEORGE 'WILLIE' BROWN

George “Willie” Brown, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia.  He was born on Aug. 3, 1941, in Concordia, Kansas, to Elden M. & Margaret E. (LaPlant) Brown.
Willie graduated from Concordia High School in 1959.  He married Sharon Lapo on Nov. 10, 1961, in Concordia, Kansas.
He worked in the parts department for Big A Auto and Martin Tractor in Concordia.  He and Sharon later moved to Florida, where he worked for Kelly Tractor until his retirement in 2001.
Willie enjoyed building model boats and collecting firearms.
Willie is survived by his wife, Sharon, Concordia; son, Stephan Brown, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; granddaughter, Bianca Brown, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; brother, Jeri Brown (Harriett), Concordia and a sister, Shirley Campbell, Manhattan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
